WP6 – Thermal Management of Semiconductors and e-Axle, Co-Simulation of System

Starting with the best available cooling technology on the market, the WP6 target is to select and design the significantly improved cooling solutions for each of the four Use Cases in terms of efficiency, considering scalability in simulation for 50-250kW rated power and various vehicle classes.

The WP consists of four Tasks:

• Task 6.1: Innovative & Novel Semiconductor Cooling Concepts
• Task 6.2: Thermal Management (ThMgt) Integration in WBG-Inverter
• Task 6.3: Thermal Powertrain System Layout and Co-Simulation
• Task 6.4: Predictive Thermal and Powertrain Management Simulation
